This page explains which cookies growth-engines.com uses, what each one does, and how to change your choice. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Some cookies expire when you close the browser, others stay for a set period. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tags loaded by Google Tag Manager, are covered by this page as well.

2. How consent works on this site

When you first visit, a banner offers three choices: accept all, reject non-essential, or set preferences by category. What happens before you choose depends on where you are. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, only strictly necessary cookies are set until you choose, and Google’s Consent Mode keeps analytics and advertising “denied”. Everywhere else, analytics cookies are set from your first page view and you can reject them at any time. Advertising tags stay off until you approve them, wherever you are. Your region is determined by Google from your connection, only to apply the right default. Your choice is stored in your browser for 180 days. A receipt is also kept on our server so we can show what was agreed and when: the time, the consent version, the categories you chose, the page you were on, your browser type, and a pseudonymous identifier that cannot be traced back to you without our server key. Your IP address is not stored in the receipt, and receipts are deleted automatically after 24 months. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the cookie settings button that stays in the corner of every page.

3. The cookies we use

Analytics

Help us understand how visitors use the site: which pages are read, where visitors come from, where they leave. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, set only after you approve the analytics category. Elsewhere, set by default until you reject them.

Google’s use of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Marketing

Used to measure and target advertising campaigns, for example Google Ads, LinkedIn or Meta tags. They load only after you approve the marketing category, and only while we run campaigns. When no campaign is running, nothing in this category is set.

4. Managing cookies in your browser

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. The setting is usually under “Privacy” or “Site data”: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
